I love the swirling shapes that add centre of interest to your already strong sense of composition. There is a wonderful balance of contrast and very interesting colours. The white wavy lines, which seems to be in the foreground, mimic a musical staff. That, to me, gives this piece a real lyrical flowiness to it. Combine that with larger line shapes with sharp turns, and large filled-in shapes in the background. This reminds me of a large orchestra playing a grandiose symphony!

Comment Written 17-Jul-2005

Amazing
Rons Pen Art wrote,
There is a spiritual connection with this image as well, a musical bar with notes as such! I read the caption and the frequency high notation! The image has the appeal of musical notes, well done, and the spiritual motivation is from above, let it lead the way for you! I like the colors and wavy effect of the image! The white lines across the top to me reflect a spiritual tone that some of us will hear, other won't! This is what I see and feel when viewing this piece! Thanks for sharing!

Comment Written 17-Jul-2005

Amazing
stacyg33 wrote,
what a wonderful depiction of the spirit world bstarr. On a popular site that I have become a member of: http://www.fanartreview.com/, (FAR for short reference)I have encountered many artists of a digital nature and straight photographers as well....what constitutes "digital art" seems to be questionable on this site in particular. For the FAR site, anything with even the tiniest photograph implemented is construed as Photography....while absolutely no photography and using computer manipulations/software constitues Digital Art, according to the FAR site. However, out in the real world you will often find that to be the opposite.I think on a large scale the character of ART itself is changing. Well, come on, it HAS to....to keep up with the technology that is literally at the fingertips of our imaginations these days.I say....you be the judge and just enjoy something appealing, hopefully to the eye, heart and spirit.

Reviews fromRed Sun Window

Photograph of a red sunflower/manipulations
10 total reviews

Nearly Perfect
artisticdragon wrote, Very nice.It seems like there is a horizon in there.I like the floating frame also. This is an excellent piece .Thanks for showing
Comment Written 08-Jul-2005

Amazing
Ramona12 wrote, Lovely and so original.
